"After being referred to Deloitte University by an old friend, I quickly felt at home with the caring and friendly atmosphere. I started as a Server Assistant in The Market, then advanced to Server and Peer Trainer before departing Deloitte University to work at another Pyramid property in Colorado. After a few years, I missed the experience of working at DU and returned to take on roles in the Barn and Bistro as an Assistant Manager. I then transitioned back to The Market, where I worked my way up to Restaurant Manager, with aspirations of becoming Food and Beverage Director.
Leading the Market team has been one of my biggest accomplishments, as it has allowed me to foster a collaborative environment and drive exceptional service.
Throughout my tenure at Deloitte University, I have been fortunate to assist other properties in their transition into the Pyramid portfolio. Each position and experience has prepared me for the next, which is one of the many reasons why working at DU is special. With opportunities for Leadership classes, bi-annual associate surveys, and countless resources at our fingertips, we can continually better ourselves and support our teammates."
